Cal Poly Pomona Broncos vs Notre Dame de Namur

Season opener for the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos men’s basketball team. One year later, one year wiser.

The Broncos led the entire game and were in control throughout the 1st half. However, Notre Dame came within 3 points in the 2nd half of the game coming close to an upset. Terrence Drisdom came away with a steal and a slam (season highlight style/2nd to last photo) that sparked the crowd and helped the Broncos finish the game. Mitchel Anderson led the Broncos with 15 points. Tyquan Brown came up with 7 boards and Bronco’s won 57-48.

The Broncos looks real sharp this year, last season there were several occasions where the Broncos came close but couldn’t close. It seems they’ve found their rhythm. One year later, one year wiser.
